Sicarú approaches the territories of Afro-descendant cultures to propose a journey through musical genres and cultural manifestations of Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Haiti, Honduras, The Guianas, Mexico, Peru, Surinam, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay. Candombe’s thematic axis is Afro-American musical wealth, in which a group of classical guitarists looks at the third root, giving an unprecedented result in concert music.
